On a 99 Mercedes SLK, does anyone know if over-tightening the lug nuts will cause the wheel not to spin?

Yes, the wheels are stock. Would the spare tire require a different lug bolt?

Yes, the wheels are stock. Would the spare tire require a different lug bolt?
The spare whell might require shorter lug bolts,,,,,,if you use the longer bolts it will destroy the parking brakes on the rear brakes, and could damage the hubs. It’s not unusual to see this mistake cause over $1,000 in damage..
